Lara Holladay, General Manager
It is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Lara Holladay to General Manager for Mezza Luna. An established leader in the food and beverage industry, Lara brings over thirty years of experience to her new position.
Formerly Lara served as Mezza Luna’s Director of Catering. Lara’s catering career began by training under Anne Pollard of The Green Bottle Grill a Frank Stitt inspired concept , where the standards were high, everything was made from scratch, the food displays were like fine art and everything was sourced locally. When she first began in the food and beverage industry she was told, “You are either going to love it or hate it, there is no in between. If you love it, it will be in your blood forever.” Thirty years later the passion is still in Lara’s blood and she is still in love with the art of cuisine.
Originally from Los Angeles, California, Lara recalls visiting her grandparent’s ranch when she was younger where her grandmother would prepare beef stew each time her family visited. The table was always set with china, folded napkins, glasses filled with ice water, freshly made bread, horseradish cream to dollop in the stew and there was always a white cloth Battenburg linen on the table. To this day, the smell of beef stew brings back fond memories of her grandparent’s house.
Lara has helped create a lasting memory for each of her catering clients over the last several years. Now as Mezza Luna’s General Manager, Lara looks forward to creating a lasting impact for guests through a great atmosphere, a high standard of service and artful cuisine.
